I'm a user experience designer skilled in Product Strategy, Participatory Design and Product Design. I love understanding human behavior to solve problems.
I strive to learn new skills and ideas to expand my understanding of the field.
ResumeBefore I got into UX, I was a Chef in some of NYC's busiest restaurants. Chefs, like UX Designers, are constantly problem solving and seeking to understand the customer by iterating on dishes and getting feedback to create engaging experiences for customers.
I always had a passion for design and technology, and wanted to find a career where I could merge those interests with my desire to solve problems and create engaging experiences.
One night after a long shift I did some extensive googling and found out about User Experience Design. To test the waters I took Springboard's online UX course, and I was hooked. I fully committed to the field by taking General Assembly's UX Immersive, and I've never looked back.
I believe that in the very near future people will use virtual reality, as well as augmented reality, in their daily lives. I want to be at the forefront of this digital revolution to establish best practices to create meaningful experiences.
At HS Design I was fortunate enough to work on an application for the Mircrosoft Hololens to assist electrophysiologist's during surgery (sadly under NDA). I recently bought an HTC Vive to start designing for VR.
